Evaluation 4

How did you attract/address your audience?
Our characters have similar qualities of ones that are in other action films. One of these films is Abduction. We liked this film as the main protagonist was a teenage boy, which is like our main protagonist except that it was a girl. Due to some of the results of the questionnaires we did, we found that the audience wanted to see a teenage lead, and wanted to see more women being involved in the action. That is why we thought that we should star in the film. We also see a resemblance in the film as the protagonist doesn't know what is going on, just like our protagonist. We felt that having this resemblance would help us get our audience.

We also have a sense of horror in our opening, which is not the convention of action, we felt that having this type of music we would help build the excitement of what is happening in the opening. I thought that this allowed us to keep the interest of the audience in our film, as having this type of music shows that there is going to be a bit of an exciting, action scene.

There are also some shots that we have used that are similar to other shots that have been used in other action films or TV shows.
We have a shot of where we have a close up of the protagonist like this. We see the main character and not much in the background, it is easier plain or it is blurred, like this one. Our shot is where we have a plain background and we have Faiths face who is the protagonist.
